    Slip-on mufflers?

Has anyone got experience with any of our home grown mufflers/exhausts ?
I am interested in replacing the stock cans on my 08 Hornet 900.
If anyone has any sound files or knows where I can hear a variety of cans on a Hornet 900, that would be helpful.
    Cheers.

Hey I never heard a hornet 900 with another exhaust before but I can tell u u makes cheap and real good exhaust : they're called "cycleworks" in Lower Hutt. I don't know how far that is away from u but when it not too far i would try it. U can make special offers and u can decide between carbonfiber, and two other kinds !
I bought mine there for 400$ but rhat was the cheapest version !
    They are real good!!

Thanks guys ..... I made an executive decision today and have ordered a pair of Micron Oval stainless steel cans. Should have them installed by the end of the week, so as I have a small screen and Oggy knobs installed now, I think I will take another picture or two. Also getting a packrack, and a tank protector installed.
Next Wednesday arvo, I'm off down to Tauranga to McDonald Auto Trimmers to get a Rider seat made .... then I will probably not modify much else for a while !!

Have a look at Trudes' profile. Those are Cycleworks mufflers on there and they look twice as good in the flesh.

Yes .. too late !! I called in to Planet Honda this arvo and had a perv at the Microns. They arrived up this morning, and they are real nice !! I have to wait until Tuesday next week to have them installed, and some other little bits I'm getting done. Only 7 more sleeps .......

And yeah ..... those Cycleworks cans do look real nice!! Their bikes both look real cool. (Trudes & partner).
    Cheers.

custom chambers did a 100% custom exhaust system for my bike (headers, collector and muffler) for $700
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Ladies, if a man says he will fix something, he will fix it. You don't need to keep reminding him every 6 months
