where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

I have both my C64 complete with 1541 Floppy drive with loadsa disks and Dataset cassette device, and some weird ass Apple machine with a brand new still-in-the-box big ass disk drive, and loadsa disks...

Mein gott, both are antiques these days...

That's 'cos it has some dodgy dll version of the player wrapped up in the xpi file you install. Not for me, not for any amount of nostalgia. I'm sure there's an Apple emulator for Linux somewhere... and lots of games if you look around.

Heck used to play Taipan, Ultima IV, Wasteland and Bard's Tale all the time on the ol'//e ....

Loved the disk drive rattle as it loaded up more hours of entertainment ... even joined a computer game club where you got them in the mail and sent them back when you were done! Old memories... heck, I even go to the MacGarden to dl the old programs which are abandonware now!

And yes, the Wasteland Rangers site is still a fav with me!
