I do not knowingly park in a manor to require my bike to be touched by any one else, if it had to be moved for a good reason I would exspect to be told about it as soon as practicaly possible, I am wary of those who will just fuck with my bikes for no reason, and will show them parts of their internal organs that they have never seen before.
Its simple fuck with my bike I kill You!.

    Sounds like too much effort.

Seems like Darwinism at work in a way. Park like a fucktard and bad shit happens. Park properly and it doesn't.

This does of course exclude people who might fukk with a bike for no reason, but some things you can't control.

And to blue eyed savage - good on ya. If that was my bike, I would hope that you left a note explaining what you did so that I knew where the damage came from and which 2 chaps I should be buying a beer for.

It is not that you suck at parking so much, it is more the fact your bike takes up too much room!

Plus one for the dont touch my ride!

I see the thread about the dick pushing his luck parking at the Uni in Auckland. Simple really, he has been told, warned and probably reminded a few times. Report him and get his bike moved "officially"! Be a dick, get treated like one too!

If you discover my bike on the ground, I would rather I picked it up. Aside from the damage that is already done, it is easy to do further damage when recovering it. What a shame such a bike got tipped over though.

Agreed - nice to see someone who actually read the other thread!
The worst part about that scenario is that it sounds like he is/was endangering a good thing for a whole bunch of others. Whilst I'm dead against people interfering with others property I think, from what I can gather from the thread that it was totally justified, though for my part I would have reported him and had it towed rather than moving it myself - exactly the same course of action as I'd use for the scenario mentioned above re: someone parking in a handicapped parking space illegally.

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes

Insurance is cool like that huh? At least your self-insurance of $200K will cover it.

I hardly think that a Hyosung 650, is considered a "heavy bike", that is unless that Hello Kitty shirt you're so fond of has shoulder pads in it.

I park my bike carefully, and with consideration. If someone moves it, care of GPS, I'll know, and my phone will get a message. 0.02 seconds later, someone will be in pain, and it won't be me.

I've come back to my bike to find someone fucking with it. They bled and needed a lie down. End of story.

    Lol. A biker perspective?

Aren't the Uni SMC bikers that moved the bike bikers?

I'd rather have my bike moved by fellow bikers with good intentions, then to have my bike towed by a tow truck driver who doesn't give a shit that chains loosely holding a bike ain't too good for it.

Personally I'd be highly pissed if my bike were moved without good reason in the situation out lined, fair enough... I guess, though thats the crux of this whole issue isn't it? is there ever a good enough reason to be moving someone elses bike?
