Any ideas on a front tyre?

Sorry to put another tyre choice thread up, but after I did one for a rear tyre I wound up with a new rear that I'm very happy with (bridgie m402), thanks.

Anyway, looking for a new front tyre. Want an all rounder, sand, mud, hard pack, but also something that has good grip when leaning the bike into corners. Any sugestions?

When I changed to a Pirelli scorpion on the back of the kdx, I found it overpowered the front dunlop. Went back to the shop and had them put the matching tire on the front and hey presto.. matching grip! They are wearing very well, but aren't cheap....

yeah thats what mines doing? Wasn't sure if I could get away with a softer tyre on the front. I can also a mitchalin ms/mh tyre fits on the front but didn't on the rear so was wondering what people think of them?

So might be a bit more to it than a matching set kiwi cowboy

the front tyre that was on the crf was a goodie, wasnt many places it ran away from me at all, the odd root or hard slipery rock maybe but other wise it was good.

got a 201 on the ktm seemed great for the short time I rode it at woodhill definitly more bite than the michelin enduro comp on my kdx the michelin will slide quite easily into a corner while the bridgestone didnt seem to pmakeing it probibly more predictable
