I Bought mine form Timmmmmmmaaaaaay.. if you see him, can you tell him Dinners ready !!!!!!!!!!
Unless ther is a special price tag attached to this unit, you are better off with a Bel STi. It also comes with an earphone socket!

V1 from Parallel Import = $929.
Good deal?
It looked like it had a headphone jack, too.
EDIT: Which probably means it's a fake! hahaha
Thanks guys.
Bought a V1.8 pop 2, off Trademe for $500. I could not tell it was 2nd hand, it was MINT. Opened it up and soldered wires to the speaker
connections on the circuit board.Drilled 2 holes in the case to let wires through. Soldered on a 3.5mm stereo headphone socket (bridged) and taped it to the case. Ran an ext cord from base of screen, to exit where seat and tank meet. Extracted the speaker from a pair of small 'phones,
snipped off the other speaker, and taped it into the helmet. Works a treat.
Finally located a cop after a week of looking (no falsing) went off, so it does go! Turned around and rode away from the cop and the V1 did indeed light up the "behind" arrow. This is very pleasing as the V1 is mounted in the CENTRE of the screen, ie my body shields direct line-of-sight.
The Bel STI is the only other option I would have chosen. A mate has one in his CAR...It's very good...but have you read about the guy on KB who had to keep replacing them on his 'bike ? Some only lasted a 2 hours !?![]()

I have noticed the V1 is getting very warm to the touch after an hour or so.
Is this normal?
