Well I quite liked the first track, suited the pisstake nature of the vid. But that second track... ewww.

One of the worst aspects of the Crusty Demons show we went to was the god-awful music by the support bands. Basically just a string of obscenities shouted into a microphone while some 'dudes' thrashed around on guitars and drums... all highly amplified.

This has an ok tune, this one not so good, this one is much betterer.
    Cheers,

The vid you linked to above has some amazing scenes in it. Truck passing car, car passing bikes, and "righting" truck scenes especially.

Lots of YZE850T's in all three of those vids, got to have ago at riding in the sand some time.

The scene of the Pajero (I think) crashing into the stuck bike just over the crest of the dune makes me cringe every time I see it. Does anybody have any more info on this scene (who was rider, did he come out of it OK (suspect not), what year was it, how much further did the Pajero come?

    Cheers R

What me with that vid was the truck passing what seems very much like a Peugeot 405 at high speed. You can see the Pug driver lifting off before some of the jumps, but shit, that truck is hauling.

I still would love to see some vids of 'my' Tenere, the 1VJ on the Dakar with its "high speed" fairing.

Has the dakar jumped the shark? If so when? What were the best years or are they now? Have they come yet?

Dakar is no more. The "big race" will be in South America next year as I understand it.

They used it on the titles for the 2006 Dakar, it always seemed to be playing that scene whenever the wife would bring me in a cup of tea! Made me cringe too, still does...

Just have to make sure the support vehicle on the Dusty keeps his distance eh!

I don't dislike this one has mix music and engine sound.

I'm amazed the guy that does the small Jump at min 1:49! He almost looses control but stay hard on the gas and gets over it ... I'll never ever ever learn to control myself to do 10% of that response ...
