    Do avatars expire?

    Excuse me for asking a naive question, but do Avatars expire?
    I haven't been on here much lately and I log in to find mine has gone missing somewhere in cyber space.

    I recall not so long ago a proliferation of Scumdog's picture as an avatar.. and someone had taken all his clothes off!!!??? Photoshop maybe??? Is that defacing or improving? heheh
