    Hey there all,
we just recently signed in to this forum thing, We ((partner n i) speaking politically correct), ride a 96 FXDWG (religiously) and are looking for a med-low sissy bar, or just the chassis rail mounting brackets. If anyone knows of one, Christchurch can ya let us know.

The FXDWG, my favourite HD! Welcome to the forum.

I must say, the post-'99 FXDWG with the Twin Cam 88 goes shitloads better than the original. Have you ever been tempted to upgrade?

Mmyes. The one I rode might have been down on power a little, given that it'd spewed a fine mist of oil all over my pants by the end of the ride.

Welcome to KB, and glad you're enjoying your wideglide. We've spent many happy hours on ours touring, much of it down your way.

There are quite a few harley after-market folks on KB, Wally at Wally's HD is one who will definitely be able to help. He is in Tokoroa, full of knowledge, good prices and sends stuff all over the country.

I've recently done a hell of a lot of work on performance work, pm me if you want any info.

when your motor gets to 100,000 miles you will be tempted though, the evo's can be rebuilt and rebuilt forever, the twin cams can't be rebuilt in the same way, throwaway cranks, throw away cases (no tappet blocks when they wear out your motor is beyond economic repair)

At one time you buy a harley and keep it for life, now they have a use by date
