My main reasoning is traffic and bordom SH1 to ngaruawahia is quite flat, a little dull and busy with trucks.

    Opinions?
I agree with your thought mentioned above, any thoughts on avoiding parts of SH39 also? VERY populated in the weekends by mad mother F*&kers in these crazy caged things.

I don't think you can avoid SH39 without changing the whole route!

booyaa!! He shoots, he scores. Thank you for coming, please come again.

Haven't looked at the route but anything with twisties is fine by me. Starting to get the hang of this motorbicycling thing. I may even have to have a bit of a practice run during the week since it's around my turf this time.

Agree about 39 being mad in the weekend but also agree that it sounds like it can't be avoided. In saying that it does seem 70% of the time when we rock up to cars in a pack they move out of the way if they can.

Just need to put those bloody green things up front and they'll move

Murray, the room rate sounds bloody good idea for Brooke and I. We might have to look into that when the drinkie idea is sorted.

Only as a suggestion, keeping off more of the beaten tracks but still keeping it all sealed and keeping the general shape of slowfox's original idea.

The only problem is it is quite a few different roads so there would need to be a few choke points to discourage little black ninjas from venturing off

The green are just as bloody bad, although by the sounds of it, a little blue one might need reeling in as well.
