    As a side note:
Te Pahu Rd cuts out a chunk of SH39 at the northern end as does Turitea Rd/Honikiwi Rd at the southern end all of which are sealed and in an ok condition & nice riding

The only problem is it is quite a few different roads so there would need to be a few choke points to discourage little black ninjas from venturing off

The Otewa Road option does make the ride quite a lot longer but is a goodie I have been told although I haven't done it myself...yet. It is next on my agenda when I get a chance.
Following the west bank of the Waipa from Whatawhata is a good option too and does cut out some of 39. The best bit of 39 is from Pirongia south anyway....BTW SH39 has its fair share of LEO's as well.......
Haven't done the Turitea/Honikiwi bit either - will chuck it in next time......

Well seeing as you are all ok'ing dinner and drinks at the COMPLETE opposite end of town to us in TA Murray you had better book us in for a room.

We could call it the Kiwibiker Christmas get together

Thanks again to Murray, Dave and Krissy (sorry if I spelt it wrong) for filling our bellies for the start and end of the day.

It's so awesome to meet such a great group of people
Were are those winning numbers for lotto again..... Having to sell all your toys sucks

I would suggest that buoyancy floats most boats but i am sure the green ones float faster and sound better while doin it
