Good plan murray, a verbal yarn would be a good idea.

Of course we could just set up threads in the rant and rave section titled "laxed out rides - off topic"
"laxed out rides - giving dave crap"
"laxed out rides - green vs every other colour"
    or whatever we may need

hahah quasi been "hocking" his site again .. good on him ..

Saw him at BBT .. t'is been a while since I've bumped into quasi.

I've done a similar thing for the manawatu riders at http://www.mcrides.co.nz

Quasi and I are both hamiltonians so either of us I imagine would provide a fair bit of support should you decide to house .. and we're both keen on growing our own sites

Plus we're both pretty top blokes ... I've just been hit by the ugly stick is all

    Its tricky because everyone's here.

I have a couple of web servers on the net (one of my geek chores) and could host one myself hehe but its the same problem... Everyone's here and the annoying ones get bored quickly and leave us alone

    Bonuses are:
we can have lots of threads to seperate yarning from course plotting and maps etc, just basically more room and less people, we can also moderate it ourself, i.e. one or more of the team would be able to kick people out if they are being pains in the arse.
Problem there is, if you kick out the pains in the arse's, I will be out!!

Chat over a whisky sounds like the plan to me.

    Right, my view...

Agree we have gotten all our riders from this site which is where i would say new riders would come first and not the other sites (in saying that I don't know what they're like)

Kinda agree that it would be good to have our own forum with posts as above (laxed out of gas ). In saying that I was looking at some of the other meetings on here and they wipe our asses with post counts. One has well over 100 pages now. I see the point in it though.

Agree beer, food, beer, beer, shots, hassling Dave, JB's and little talking about it would be good.

I think if we have our own forum then a post would still need to be placed on here. In saying that, it'll cut out all the banter and friendly ribbing which may make us appear boring god knows that ain't true.

The 6th we should be good too. Did I miss anything?

Oh yeah, Murray, what was it before??

    Executive decision

The dinner is for the 6th. So someone (I'm higher management I don't do it) can do a calendar thing for it if they won't.

This Sunday is ride and brekky is Murray gives the all clear.

The route needs to be finalised with Koz, Slofox, Paddy and Spazm since you lot all had input (although I think Koz just put it in the calendar). Way you go, talk amongst yourselves

Yep keep the Sunday meeting and optional bfast going at 9.30 meet to leave 10.30.

My avatar before was black on white but this green gets to you after a while. If your wondering its a picture of one of Fongs Guards from an old cartoon called Jonny Quest.
