    Maybe I interpret "Man of the Match" to be "most valuable player" as in the person that most helps his team win.... I guess you are intepreting it as the best player on the field notwithstanding whether his team wins or not.

    well...one player alone can not win a game for a entire team!! But one player alone can standout in his performance amoungst his peers no matter the score...

    another question...how would 'you' choose man of the match if its a draw?
