    Thumbs up Dad's classics

Thought I would share these pics with you..

My dad was in the British Army, REME (Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers) & based in Cyprus, Tripoli & Aden

    * The first pic is Dad in Aldershot, England 1958 (age 20)

    Bike is a 1953 BSA C11 250cc (coil ignition).

    * Second pic is Dad in Aden (in the British Army). 1961. Age 23

Bike is a Wartime Matchless 350 cc

    * Third pic is a 1955 ES2 Norton (nearly broke my leg trying to kick it over... ) It's still around in the Nelson area somewhere..

Soooo.. I guess biking is in my blood then....

FINE. This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

There is a bike book out.. (sorry but I don't know what it is called..).. (I jus know that I saw it on the counter at Thunderbike.. ) & the Norton is featured in it, from when my dad & brother owned it!
