    Use yer nose

This has been thrashed around a fair bit I'm sure but one thing that has saved my bacon a few times has been the ol snozz-My nose.
The smell of fresh cow shit or the pungent aroma of diesel has on occasion been my first warning that somethings not right in my lil world.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

Mine is known to be ineffective (or should that be defective?) at times due to vast amounts of snot-causing pollen.

If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...

And the fresh smell of cut grass, often means a slow tractor will be around the next bend or two. Good point frosty...

And the sweet (?) smell of wet tar in sweltering summer heat to get all crossed up on.

My favourite was when an onion truck overturned on SH1 north of Auckland. You could smell the squashed onions ages before you got there. True story!

    Cowshit/Diesel/Mown Grass/Elephant Dung/Channel#5/New Paint/Onions...

You are now approaching the spot where a Stock Truck driven by a Female has just past a Circus that has set up next to a house where they are doing renovations....

Sorry that scenario is impossible. Everyone knows females can't drive. And a stock truck, too! How absurd!

    It must've been a cross-dressing truckie wearing the Channel#5(?).

And your scenario doesn't take into account the onion smell. Unless that's what the stock/circus animals/cross-dressing truckie/rennovators was/were eating.

Hmmmm - I remeber on a damp day emerging from the Homer Tunnel on the west side to the aroma of diesel...LOTS of diesel and glancing down at a series of PURPLE hairpins and thinking "Fuck that for a lark - I'm going home".

Found out on the Monday that a Diesel tanker hadn't quite secured it's load on it's way to Milford.
In space, no one can smell your fart.
