    Likewise. A 700 & a 750.

Didn't know there has already been one! Oh that's right i wasn't even a KB'er at that time.

How many bikes turned out at the V4 ride then?

Not sure. But one of my Dad's mates (who I get along with too) had one. A race bike with all the HRC parts available and suspension modified in the U.K. Has the powerband of a lightswitch apparently. Putting out near 140hp (damned good for an old 750).

Not sure if he still has it. He had to sell several of his old bikes and a car for it. And it's too much of a race bike for him (old back and everything) and everything is fairly brittle for a road bike. One pothole and the flash magnesium wheels would be ruined. Think he was planning on selling it. I should've asked for a go but I didn't want to be an arse and put that pressure on him. Maybe if he's still got it I'll ask and say "I break it, I buy it".

    Vfr ride - auckland

Still got two VFRs in my garage - '86 750 and '98 800....but the 750 goes to my brother as soon as he sells his MT125 Elsinore and clears space.

I reckon we have time for one more ride before Christmas - not weekend of 19th tho.

I suggest either Raglan or Waipu for a Pizza.

Lets see what interest there is out there. Who's up for organising it?

Anyone (in Auckland area) got an 87 or 88 VFR750?

I need to have a look at it so my brother can make up some stainless steel fairing stays for one.

Oh and if you have an '86 he has a set of those in Stainless that are a work of art that he might just be tempted to sell.
