Cats land on their feet. Toast lands jamside down.
A cat glued to some jam toast will hover in quantum indecision
Curiosity was framed; ignorance killed the cat
Fix a computer and it'll break tomorrow.
Teach its owner to fix it and it'll break in some way you've never seen before.
man....that seems cheap
someone would have to be happy with their new purchase
Never do a $1 reserve before Xmas...
1 month before and after...people don't have the $$$ to buy things.
Speed 4 is a smaller version of the popular speed triple.
Crap-arse it is!
I suppose it is water cooled, has two wheels & made by Triumph.
Or did it?
The seller has to actually sell it now, not something that is a fore gone conclusion ladies & jelly spoons.
Yes yes yes TM deals are a legal & binding contract but it means you will have to fight for it which = time & money.
Recently happened to a mate who won a K7 thou for $10,500, the seller just didn't respond. So I helped him track the SOB down, phone contact was established & the guy just flat refused to sell it at that price.
The $1 res house on TV recently? Remember that? Went for a few hundy less than its fair market value. Did he actually buy it? No, seller did a runner lol.
Don't get too excited about "cheap" items being sold on TM, not always the case.
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
Bollocks (to half that), the time just before Christmas is a very good time, people get holiday pay, its usually the most flush time of the year. Motor vehicle sales are usually higher prior to Christmas because of it. One of the reasons is people don't want to brake down while on holiday so they trade in the shitter. Certainly was that way when I was in game many moons ago.

Hi Boob - if this refers to the Browns Bay property recently - it did indeed sell in the end. I personally know the new owner and I was privy to the process of tracking down the seller. I cannot get into details but the transfer was eventually made but I suspect somewhat reluctantly by the seller!!!!!!!!

Fair comment, but from my experience there are also very motivated sellers out there from time to time. When times are tough beggars can't be choosers !
My present bike was such a case... 02 Sprint RS bought through Trade Me in mid 06 with 34,000km for $7,900.
The seller had had a change in circumstances and had to sell his pride and joy. Quick and clean sale solved his dilemma and got me a cheap bike - Win, win.
I suspect the New Year will see an increase in 'motivated' sellers. Happy hunting for those with available $s.
Here's another cheap bike.

Too good to be true i would imagine.
EDIT: Turns out it's one of those overseas scams as trademe sent me an e-mail after i viewed it. Are they not allowed to just pull the listing since they know it's a scam?
