Does anyone know if one of these can be bought anywhere in Wellington?
Wanted it as a gift for someone.
MOTION PRO Magnetic Finger Glove. Motomail have them for sale, but the postage is a little more than I can afford this time of year.

Great for thick fingered mechanics trying to place a tiny little washer in a difficult spot....!
To be more precise, its a finger glove with a magnet in the tip, to aid with washers, nuts, screws etc. Saves dropping them and a lot of foul language and hunting on the floor.
I use thick grease or have even used super glue on occasions....![]()
My magnetic finger don't need no steenking glove.

I was sent one of these by DRD Mag they come in handy if you remeber its in your tool box.
Another option (and probably more widely available) is a metal extending stick (like the aerials on cars) but it has a magnet on the tip.

well, if 8 fingers and 2 thumbs can't put it on...
Know what you mean tho... I don't suppose you could make your own? Especially considering it looks like you're on a budget... All it would take is magnets in the fingertips?
Other option, depending when you need it, is I guess I could "courier" it down on news year day (depending on size of package), but you'd need to meet me at the Wellington ferry in the afternoon, as I jump on board to get to Picton by night.

There would be very few bike shops in NZ who don't have an account with W. White Wholesale.
Therefore, just about any bike shop should be able to get you a pair in.
(You'll be pushing it to have them in time for Xmas though).
