I haven't read quite all of the posts on here, but I wonder if people used their "ignore" function that may help? If most of the posts that you object to come from the same people over and over, maybe you could block them out and find kb was more like you remember it?

For myself, I've only been a member for a year. I do find good information and generally get a laugh from some posts cleverness. I like the bike reviews and ride reports, and lots of the general stuff. Things that look a bit pointless to me I just glance over and move on. I don't use the "ignore" but others seem to find it worthwhile...

I can't comment on how kb used to be, but I do think there is still plenty of value to be found here.

Solving cyberbullying is pretty simple from my point of view....

Cisco:

Juniper:

set route-options static route 216.237.127.128/29 next-hop discard

What does this do?
Makes the entire subnet:

Ashleigh Taylor NZ 216-237-127-128--29 (NET-216-237-127-128-1)

disappear, as in become no longer accessable.

Problem solved.
No more collective dick waving - site disappears.

Think of it as the biggest ignore button you'll ever see

That may well be so - but not everyone that Paul passes may be so well positioned or as confident on a bike as you. All dipshit and I are suggesting is that he should show a greater degree of consideration for those others that share the road with him.

(And as an aside - I think the reason Paul has removed his videos from youtube is that he actually realises that we have a valid point - he just doesn't want to admit it).

I don't know where the rest of you live, but it's a beautiful day here, so why not go and get on your bike and go for a ride and cool down. Or even go and change the oil or give it a clean or something, anything, just step away from the computer and back into the real world for a few hours FFS!!!

It helps to get away from a topic and clear one's head, yes, but don't minimise the impact of these things. When someone says something to you, in public and in writing, that is the real world.
