A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Yep everything is Dangerious, life is terminal. a loaded gun is safe until you pick it up and pull the trigger, traveling at 300kmph is safe until you hit something solid, or break one of the other laws of physics.
It is the constant risk analysis that gets us from, getting up from bed to getting into bed, at the end of our day that we mostly do on auto pilot, through our day, using the knoledge we have about the knowen risks for personal harm to ourselves, that are constantly around us.

    Very true.
Motorcycles have been kicking the crap out of the Oscar Exchequer for thirty-ought years. Also inflicting grievous damage to domestic harmony...

My bike is dangerous. I went for a ride near dusk yesterday, and there must be at least 200 dead bugs all over the front of Scoot.

She's an Evil Bitch, and she's out to get bugs.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

Which of course proved my point - it's all relative.
