YEah, umm. Sorry guy's. Im a bit bored on holiday by myself and seeing as I cant go for a fucken ride now then I thought I would have me a bit of a laugh...

Was gonna keep the thread going but I need to go get a clutch lever... I had just pulled up home, put side stand down and got of bike. Turned around, noticed that the bike was falling. I dived under it but the bloody thing is almost 4 times my weight! So smack into my shin and then my foot. Im fine, shin has a great big lunp forming on it. Kinda like a boobie It will bruise nicely. Once I managed to get out from uder the bike I tried lifting the bike, LMAO!. Unfortunately I have a hernia so I thought Id better get my neighbour to help.
The very first thing I did after that was ring Malcolm. It was horrible, one of the worst things ever! I feel so bad! He is really good about it but he hasnt seen it yet and I have told him but the fairing is pretty scrached up.
Bugger! What can ya do. Im of to get beer.

The truth is easier to handle from both sides. Well done.

Hope the shin/foot heals OK. Changing the lever regardless is a good idea.

If my wife dropped my bike, I'd be more worried about her, and I'd prefer she told me. Fairings & levers can be replaced and/or repaired. People can't.

Our boarder dropped my bike last week, smashed the indicator & re-cracked the fairing (was already cracked, and had been araldite'd). I didn't even care that much. I had a spare indicator from last time I'd had to buy one (I could only get a pair) so I bolted it on. No big deal.

oh you poor thing... glad your okay and that your partners all good with it (although he hasnt seen it... he may spend a little time looking at it, but they do get over it). That is why i don't ride my dads or brothers bikes... too afraid of doing just that. I dove under my own bike when did almost the same thing (only was in middle of washing it when i moved it) and i got right underneath it... but meant i had the blackest knee/shin/thigh for a couple of weeks). When my mum put my dads bike down, while he was watching... had just picked up a new bike for sister in law... he picked her up, checked her and then looked at bike... luckily there was no damage at all done.

Good luck for when he gets home, and by the sounds of things save your breath if you are gonna have any chance of surviving the "drowning"!

Personally, I like to guard against this issue by riding a motorcycle that any woman of lesser stature than, say, Number One, can't even lift off the sidestand.
