Question Would you buy another bike same as old one?

    Dear Agony Aunt,
Have recently crashed my bestever bike!!!!#$%&! Thinking bout what to replace it with. Could buy it back and try fix it...or save the hassle and buy another. Am afraid if I get same as before, could be dissapointed as no two bikes are the same. A Different bike might be better as not making close comparisons all the time. Anyone??

    What do you Reckon????????

Would u replace ur bike with the same one?

    Dear Agony Aunt,

I recently crashed and burned my bestest ever bike!!!&%$#!!!

I could buy it back and try recreate it.
I could buy another the same.
I could buy a completelydifferent bike.

I am afraid if I buy it back it wont 'feel' the same bike...and it would be a hassle to do it. Loads of aftermarket Bling.
If I buy another the same, I might be dissapointed as no 2 bikes are the same.
I could buy somthing completely different, then when it doesnt handle the same, at least I know its a different bike, so will be different!

    What do you reckon??????

I just did just that. My one was stock standard though. Insurance co offered to replace or give me the cash. I took a 2009 R6 for a ride but decided to stick with the Honda.

Trouble is its a Ducati!!! Cant imagine a Sprint ST at 30 kilos heavier and no 'fully adjustable suspension' will carve the downspeed corners the same. I know u can work on the forks to get rid of the DIVE DIVE DIVE, but again, afraid might be dissapointed in another Ducati if it doesnt carve as good as the old one.

Absolutely not, but again, I had a Hyosung.

I'd rather contract VD than have another Hyosung.

Yeh, but see...Ur on a 96 600ss Ducati, not a CB400 four. Would u buy another 600 SS if u crashed and burned?

Hmm a ST4s vs dam near anything else is not fair I mean ABS, Ohlins front and rear, and it a Duke, hmm perhaps except a ST3s later model, all the same features just a slightly different engine.

I know were I would be looking.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

Of course - if it was your best bike ever why not buy another best bike ever.

Surely doing otherwise would be like dumping your best girl ever and replacing her with her dowdy sister

    Depends on your personality type.

Are you the type of person that likes change, exploring new things, travelling, eating at new restaurants or ordering differnt dishes etc? If so then buy a new one.

If you like security, always order the tika masala, stay at a job for 10 years and only holiday to Aus or Fiji then get the same bike.

Neither is right or wrong, but it aint rocket surgery either.
