Is the "Asian" reputation for driving deserved?

Whats that got to do with the price of rice. Oh backing a trailer is a sore point for me. I can back a trailer fine, accurate and with only using my mirrors. I get abit shity people assuming i cant back a trailer.

My dad made us kids learn how to drive in a paddock basher..in the paddock. And made us back a trailer as well. I learnt how to drive, back a trailer...and rebuid fences.

Driving in the blood? no..its exposure to it for the most part. If you have family into it..chances are you will be to.

I've just completed a survey on a series of driver safety/car safety ads on tv and this was one of them. I said it was a pathetic ad and I hated it! Likewise the tosser who is ticketed for speeding on the way to his kid's sports game and then has to drive THROUGH an accident scene on the way home, complete with fire, police and ambulance still in attendance! When was the last time the cops let any vehicles drive through a crash scene like this?

It's like all the ads for side airbags - sure, they probably help, but it doesn't mean you can drive like a moron and escape injury!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Nah, another "nature vs. nurture" question. I reckon driving habits are picked up from who you learn from. I drive parly like my dad, who taught me to drive, and partly like my father in law, who I've driven with for 10 years more recently (he taught me how to heel-toe properly).

I reckon an adopted kid will drive like his adoptive parents. Like so many other things, you're influenced by what you see, you follow the example you are given from your role models.

Driving fast isn't the problem, driving faster than you can handle, or your vehicle can handle (in both cases taking the conditions into account) is the problem. Then again, so is being a dickhead show-off.

This is FAR too serious for a friday arvo though...
I figure car drivers must be Apes. All they do is sit in cages all day & grunt

Well I drove a Kenworth once...na na na na na na!

I have no doubt you can back a bloody trailer, what I like about the comment I made is that, it gets a response everytime I post it. Males dont get offended if its pointed out that they cant back a trailer, I would suspect not every male can. Its a genda thing.
    It aint in the blood.

Have a look at the skidmarks on the road. For some reason the cage must have suddenly and mysteriously jumped to the left (& then a step to the right?) and inverted onto its roof before stopping instantly.

Fuck speed. That advert proves that aliens have landed and are now throwing cages off of the road with gay abandon and complete disregard for physics. (NOT Honda type "ghey abandon" either...).
