    So, I'm in Wellington...

... and I have sod all to do tomorrow! I've got my hands on a rental Speed Triple but I'm entirely at a loss as to where to go with it. Has anyone got any recommendations or better yet, does anyone have free time tomorrow?

Follow SH2 up to Upper Hutt. Keep going til Featherston, then turn around & do the hill again.

    Repeat until no longer necessary.

sorry man, i have to work, otherwise i would take you out to lake ferry pu for brunch, then off to palmy... all through the back roads, there we could get some afternoon tea with my son luke ... if i can find him, then home, more back roads.. with piecock hill thrown in for a laugh...

    what a ride so far!!!!

Nah keep going to masterton, hook a left to pahiatua left again and follow till you get lost ! Nah then back down to Peakok hill and over haywards then repeat till no longer necessary !
Time on my hands sorta but just threw my shoulder out (i'm old you see) so prolly wouldn't handle a ride for a few days !
Edit : what AJ said !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I think I'll just end up potzing about the Hutts tonight. So if anyone sees a black Triple being ridden by someone with a black/blue Quasi jacket, wave or better yet stop me.

In that case - look up Wainui Coast Road. Its not bad. Or cruise out to Eastbourne.

Or, do a loop of Grey's Road Pauahatanui and the Whitby Inlet.

Truth be told I'm only here until 8:10pm (the time of my flight) tomorrow and I need to have the bike returned by 6:00pm. So the chances of any sort of meaningful ride are slim to none but I'll to make the best of the time I have left.
