    I already suggested it
I viewed the Ducati today, no doubt in my mind it should not be put back on the road again, its taken a good solid knock.

So you aren't doing the trip next week then Chris??? Huh?

What a bugga mate Was feeling envious till I heard this news. Heal up fast mate. I'm sure Unit will keep a good eye on ya. Are you after Evil Kenievil's record for the most broken bones from bike accidents?

What rotten luck and the poor Duc.

Some green coming your way, you need it.

Bummer dude! Good to see you are in repairable condition and in good spirits too.

I guess there is a cheap ducati for sale? Mmmmmmm streetfightered 1098s. How long did you have the bike? Surely you were bored with it anyway and now you actually have a genuine excuse to go bike shopping again!

Heal up mate, our thoughts are with you!
Get rid of those NANA knickers, and FIGHTER it!

As Chris said (from his hospital bed posting on his cellphone ) 9 ribs broken in 19 places, both front and back left hand side. Also a broken left shoulder collar bone, and left lung was punctured and collapsed but was re inflated and has been draining for 24+ hours. Chris managed a 50mtr sprint down the corridor tonight (well, we werent timing him), and the movement was good for the draining of the lung. Reports are Chris not at fault (well hello, left side smashed at a round about, give way to the right isnt it?).
I'll check out the bike tomorrow, and we will work through another day.
Cheers for all the support and help today people, you know who you are

As for the next bike? We have been discussing it all day, well its something to do
    Heard about this.

    Bad luck aye.

Next bike, you could buy my T-REX 1598 bro! 2.2k and its yours. (Lots left over for bling etc.)

    Mean maori!

Only took some on my cell phone quickly yesterday and I dont think I have the right cable to upload, but will check. Needless to say the frame has a big ding in it, the swingarm has a ding in it, front forks are offset and twisted, all left fairings scratched and smashed, mirrors broken and hanging off, screen gone, LCD speedo broken, left gear shifter smashed, basically anything on the LHS toast, just to start the list.
Back off to the hospital soon. Have a good day folks
