Nunquam Non Paratus
The nature of my business means I spend five times as much time in the car than on the bike. Most of the time I wish I was on the bike, instead of being stuck in a steel box - or "cage".
It's a harmless slang term, I reckon those who object to it are being a bit precious.
Can I believe the magic of your size... (The Shirelles)
So what is giving you the trouble here? The expression or it's source?
I only ask because New Zealand has adopted an awful lot of popular American culture. Here are some examples:
Decimalisation: We managed it without losing the Pound why did NZ go all Yankee with the Dollar?
Chips - if thay are thin cut and not hot are called crisps (they are crispy see?)
Vitamin is pronounced Vit-ah-min not Vite-ah-min.
There are other examples but I want to go and answer another thread now - see ya.
In space, no one can smell your fart.
He is 100% an irresponsible fuckwit thread hijacker with blood on his hands from turning too many young bikers away from the safety and courtesy message by abusing them and telling them instead of encouraging them and informing them.
I suspect he's a hoon coz he has far too many cc to be sensible and he must have an agenda which involves turning people away from safety since no-one can be so retarded at to seriously think abusing people will persuade them in any way.
I conclude by saying he must be some sort of boy racer fuckwit trying to increase bloodshed on our roads. Logic precludes any other possible conclusion.

By using words like "cagers", it reinforces our place it the biking frat!![]()
i agree
you should boycott everything American in protest ...
most of your prime time TV ( you like those NZ Home shows and Coro, right ?)
60% of everything on the radio...
Pepsi, Coke
the electric light bulb...
cant be too careful man ...
fight for your culture bro....
#392 for the ignore list
jackass..
Are you saying we should adopt the British culture, or European or worse the Aussie (even the British culture has some Americana and Vise versa)
NZ being such a young culture we are still evolving as a culture and with globalisation certian words and phrases will pass from one culture to another that's how a language grows...
The English language we use today is such a bastardised language of many many languages from Old English, Greek, French, Latin and even Chiness and more modern from the North Amercia...
At the end of the day nobody cares... I certainly don't... Its no worse than using the term J.A.F.A, S.O.A.P
