Learner licence?

Hi guys,

I did my BSHT yesterday and passed.
So now i need to do my learners.

On the website you need to get 32/35 ? So a max of 3 wrong.

Its exactly the same as the car licence except there is 10 specialist questions for motorbikes.

Do you need to get 100% in the 10 specialist questions and are allowed 3 wrong in the car section?

Or is the 3 wrong allowed to come from anywhere?

I think ill be sweet for it, but as there is 76 questions from the specialist area, if you need to get 100% it might be a bit harsh if i screw one up and get one wrong?

I recently passed this test 2 weeks ago

I am unsure if you have to get 100% on the specility questions but I did however found them to be much more easyer then the car questions due to the fact that they are more common sence type questions.

Click on Do The Test, And choose as many as you can

Bear in mind the Giveway Questions are near imposible to get right as the photographs do not show the lights at a controlled intersection

Study up and you will be sweet !

I jumped on either website every known and again and had a good read of both road code books 3 times, And acually found out the rules had changed for many things since I got my class 1 9 years ago. I got %100 on the tests out of pure motivation to get my learners because the bike I had just purchased.. hehe

You will do just fine. The hardest part was that damn eye exam! I failed nicely and had to get my eye's tested. No specs required thank goodness!

Pretty sure you're allowed one wrong on the specialist questions. I got two questions wrong in total when I sat mine 4 weeks ago

Personally I found the specialist questions quite hard - I'd recommend studying. it's about $40 if you get it wrong... they ask questions like towing etc which I have not ever done in 20 years of driving... so buggered if I knew 'em

that's my 2c - I'd study up if I were you just to avoid disappoinment and cost...

Watch out for the trick questions too, and be especially careful when more than 1 option seems right.

Like.. Choose the words Secure as appost to Tight, Or Loose

And Snug Fit Over, Tight, or Loose Fit.

Study up and test your self against the online questions and you will ace it

I had one question where the correct answer was less courteous than what I chose, you are only required to put what is legal.

The three wrong can come from anywhere, as long as you get less than three wrong total (spec and non spec) you'll be sweet.

Good luck and don't stress, if you want it then you'll get it. You just have to study. Well really, you hardly have to do that.

If the examiner is male, and asks if you ride a honda... be careful of your answer...

I would go out and buy the motorcycle road code, $25, and spend a few days reading the rode code and practise answering the questions. As there are a few tricky questions (note: not trick questions) that you could trip up on.

Oh and its 4 questions or more wrong in TOTAL, you will have to resit the test.

Easy easy easy, did mine a few weeks ago also.

Max 3 questions wrong. 4 wrong in total and you fail. Only allowed 1 specialist question wrong but they are dead simple.

As stated, there are a few tricky questions, the law comes above courtesy!

I paid for my kids licences cage and bike .....rules were simple ...I did not except a single wrong answer in theory test..

I mean how can you drive /ride properly if you don't even know the rules......?
If you can't even take the simple theory serious enough, how can you cope in traffic?..
