Ooops.....bloody lucky your bike took more of a hammering then you....
They don't seem to build the German warhorses as well as they stuck you together......
Glad to hear you walked away from it.....
Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....

Thank God you are OK Keith,
Your Steel horse has served you well,
Gave you lots of smiles over many miles,
With respect we see her go,
And we are thankfull that you will still show
That humor we all know so well,
So thankfull we did not loose our big friend,
Get well and we will see you on a new steed soon,
Cathy give our mate lots of big hugs from us all,
work your nursing magic and make Keith well,
We all want to see you at the next camp fire,
Can not loose the best BBQ cook in the land!

Crikey! looking at the piccies of your poor bike, seems you got off way lightly personally! Well least you are in the position of looking for a new ride now?

Bloody hell, that is one way to get extra air-cooling into the engine, but not the ideal method though.

The main thing is YOU are OK mate.

You can always buy another bike. (or fix your one)
There is only one and only one of you.

Hope you are back on the road soon. (and fit and well)
Feel the fear and do it anyway

That was a silly thing to do Don't worry about Hitlers revenge, you can get another panzer easy enough. But where would we get another Shrek? Pleased you're OK mate.
The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?

mate, glad you're ok. Don't worry about your bike - I have a buyer for it . An elderly Heap O Trouble was musing over needing to get herself a bimmer frame again as she has a problem being too Hard On Throttle. Your bike should slow her down a bit and also be easier on the sore toe she stubbed while chasing a bottle of Tequilla, although the Horny Old Tart will tell ya she was chasing a young fella at the time
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!

Hang on To your hat mate, I think you made a Hash of That post. You wouldn't be reffering to the Harlot of Teutonic machinery would you? Just give her a Handle of Tonic and she'll go straight back to being a real Hussy on Tour. A real HoT one.
    Time to ride
