    The Joys of 2 Strokes

Well after my 125 seized on me at ruapuna 9 weeks ago I did a real good number on my wrist. Had to have an operation where the doctors insert some stainless wires to hold it all together. So today was the day I got it all removed, I was fully conscious during the whole procedure. All I had was an injection to numb the skin. See below...

So now that I am free, I guess I will see you at Manfeild in 2 and a bit weeks

If you weren't such a pussy you would have pulled them out yourself

The surgeons hand was shaking a bit, I hope he doesn't do vasectomies
Look forward to seeing you in action again.

No he's an orthopedic specialist, so only bones! It was just done in his rooms at the local hospital, no special precautions taken. A lot more blood came out than I thought, was looking away most of the time though!!

To be honest I am quite happy with the state of it. I have not too bad a grip already and can make a fist. I have maybe 10% wrist movement which is mostly hinderd by the 3 big cuts. When they heal up hopefully I will have enough to ride

I love how much effort they have to use to get it out. Bleargh.

Reminds me off getting my wisdom teeth out. I was heavily sedated so couldn't feel anything, but remember the yanking and twisting while they're trying to get leverage on one of the big suckers!
