(for the soft cocks, you can stop in Walkworth for dinner while the rest of us head back to Albany)

    Geeezz :slap:
Why don't you make a special request and see if we can get the Red Commodore Mufti and the Silver Hyundia to ride lead and Tail End Charlie?

.... back in green and feeling great ....

One patch of chip seal near the start (SH16 end) was quite smooth and I should imagine bad in the heat, but it was fine last night.
Didn't notice any road works (that would give a problem) on Old North, Peak or 16.
No diesel on Old North either thanks.

Just saw a blue mufti Commodore heading that way. Could of course be anywhere by tonight, but hey, may just pay to be wary of any just the same.

    lol yea that was me

I find that the echo is sent backword tho, and I cant hear it so much. Different to the underbridges of spaghetti junction where the echo is all over the rider and keeps bouncing and comming back from the walls a lot longer and louder .

Went through twice last night, visor up, in 3rd and exited at about 140, yeah sounds brilliant. Saw a cop about 2 kms south of the holes. Had tea in Orewa, went back through the tunnels, cop was still parked up, got to the toll pay thingy and turned around. More noise in the tunnels, past the cop at 100kms. Stoped at the roundabout and txt Dawn, there were now two cops on the toll rd. Both heading north, same as me, legal speed was in order, one cop pulled over then stayed about 100mts behind me.
Novilty all gone now, they are just tunnels.
