    My loss your gain Cr125/250

hey fullz, I made some graphics for my bike but the printer spat the dummy and left out big chunks of black which I wanted to match up with my seat, thus I dont want them....... would be perfect if you had a white kitted CR 125-250 or if your not fussy like me... Cheese your always lookin for a bargan mate

$40.00 if ya want em. 2 shrouds, rear guard, and front plate.
pickup would be easy for me north shore, auck

Very impressive work there red rider, you've got the stuff allright. I just bought some spare rad shrouds for my KTM, I want to have a go at doing my own design. I'm only comfortable in Photoshop though. Is easy enough to convert to Illustrator? How do you vector up those complicated random shapes with all those curves and angles - eg on your design in pic?

    They look good REDRIDER.

I wouldn't mind getting into that business myself. I'm a Natcol graduate but have been working in the digital print industry for the last five years.

Funny story. KTM releases a hard equipment catalogue every year. You can download these from their site. I downloaded the '06 pdf and was amazed to find that they hadn't converted all of their graphic kits to bitmap but had left them as high res vectors. Me being schooled in pdf manipulation was able to single out one of the kits. So I've got this mint as KTM FMF factory kit sitting on my computer.

So how much would it cost me to get a set printed?

I'd be keen on getting one for a template flangemaster or Red rider? A lot easier than trying to scan a curved rad cover - not to mention a front guard! Bloody NZ DIY attitude stuffing up your biz red rider!

yeah mate, trouble is everybody wants to do it, but to do it properly it costs alot of money, not point sellin graphcics that are gonna fall off or wear through in a month, which is what a lot of guys are doin.

I work in prepress have done for years, and found the same thing in some of the factory fx pdfs, seems crazy to put all that work in to let other people rip it....

the whole idea was to make it cheaper for custom stuff. I got sick of seeing monster energy on everything, got heaps of ideas but graphics for bikes are very particular and people like diff things so its hard to premake shit.
Same thing through CSC file supplied will cost you $500 PLUS.

I did natcoll too, led to my current job. What course did you do?
Redrider, would you like some dr-z tank templates? I peeled the ratty tank graphics off mine when I got it to make my own, and never got around to it, they're just sitting on a piece of a4 atm, not gonna need em now. I did make up a die line in illustrator but the computer died and took it with it.

I work for a kid's book publishers Do a bit of everything, illustration/design/prepress. Must get pretty good hookups for printing stuff working there! I'd love to work somewhere with one of those big industrial paper cutters, chopped off a chunk of my thumb hand cutting mockups on friday, oww
