It would be Ideal for you to meet A&R and his daughters, and Climintie and his daughter. And all the KB Crowd going. It doesn't happen often that they are all in one spot unless I organise it! LOL!
But in saying that the first service after a recon or on a new bike is the most necessary to clean out all the foreign manufacturing particles and crap.
Did you get the stuff on the list to do your filter and oil change?? It'll only take about 30 mins to do both.
Secondly not sure if I'm going yet but my daughter is away in Hastings and my son has to work so if I go to Thunder I'll have room on the Ute, seeing as your local Howick we could share the gas??
Up to you?
PS you get into Thunder free!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Ouch tuff call Sammy, seeing as how the bikes not mine.
The Drz isn't hard on its bits (depending how you ride) compared to a 125 screemer, it should be ok.
But if it where mine I'd not ride a bike that hasn't had the filter cleaned for 30 hours and because it is its very first oil change its fairly important if your keeping it, in my humble opinion.
Filter oil and 4L gearbox oil from say Botany Honda should only cost $50-60-00. If your short just get a litre of gearbox oil. Your bike probably only takes about 6-700ml.
Tub of general grease from Repco Dunno $10-00 bucks! They sell small 300ml Castrol Filter oil there for $9-00 as well I think.
Litre of kero from Bunnings ??
There's that auto place in Bunnings carpark as well! You might even get the lot there. But don't let them sell you car oil for your gearbox it must be for a bike because of the wet clutch.
Be safe, go shopping, then give me a call and I'll show you and your hubby how I clean mine. your going to need it all in the future anyway its part of biking (the must do stuff). You'll only need to be shown once as well, its not hard, as I say 30mins tops.
PM me your number if you need help!

Tell her thank you very much for the offerI'd be way too paranoid about dropping it down one of the hills there tho! I crash a lot, better to do it on my own bike
The little devil on my shoulder is saying I should just dip into the savings and buy the new bike now and sell the old one later, or hang onto it....And wouldn't it be nice to have something my friends could ride?...Naughty little thing!![]()
i went riding with a couple of girls last weekend, they double teamed me all day, pushing me off, blocking so i couldnt pass, and stealing all my food and water, it was a funny old day i tells ya.![]()
SHE LOOKED UP AT ME WITH BLOOD IN HER EYES
THEN HER SKIN FELL OFF
AND SHE PROMPTLY DIED
