A luvverly ride tonight, had three turn up .. me, myself and I!

Did an alternate route, had a feed of pork buns from the local pork bun sensei and then pootled home. Got back and wouldncha know it, a friend wanted to go pillion riding with me!

So outs I goes again! Oh noes, it is a hard lifes to live to keep riding.

Even with the rain and the damp, on we rode doing the classic St Heliers GP route!

And then I come back and find EJK has disturbed the Force by dissing hornets

There shall be a reckoning, it shall be short, sharp, bloody and very, very violent!

You took that to heart? Geez all I said was that the Hornet is not my type of a bike

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

As you know young Padawan, when you pass judgement on others, you pass judgement on yourself!

    Heya Gijoe.

question who was it that suggested kissing the mirrors if you find you've hit a corner to fast?

Well who ever it was i am going to kiss them when i see them again.

Saved my ass on the way back from Rotorua. I took the Pyspa (sp) way back. (damn hornet swarm's, have got me liking the back roads now. i diverted 10km s to go that way.)

    Any way
I am enjoying the ride then oh crap a sharp corner. ok take the lines etc. crap this is tighter I'm going to lose it. then i remember him(i think it was badger) talking about kissing the mirrors when in trouble, Holy crap i made it out.

So when i see you again i am going to kiss you!

    Thank you soo much.

Aah, the learning is strong in this one
Was quite possibly i, tis the best piece of advice i have ever received for cornering (and it has saved my butt before too), so i tend to pass it along whenever i can.
Glad you kept it rubber side down, tis always a learning experience finding just what our steeds (and indeed ourselves) are capable of when we demand it of them
And you're quite welcome, just shout me a beer and keep kissing those mirrors
