    pah. 2400 baud? Pure luxury. I had to use acoustic couplers. Sort of a socket that you put a phone receiver into. About 150 baud I think. They were followed by 300 baud modems.

    internet? LUXURY! in my day we had to make do with a telephone! and when I say telephone I mean a bit of wire and two plastic cups that we had to salvage from the rubbish tip! mind you, we never had time to use the telephone, with walking 15 miles up hill to work, and 20 miles uphill home again after a 25 hr day for tuppence a month!

    Try telling young people that these days and they wont believe it!
    Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
