Yeah I'm starting to wonder about this mythical 1150, I've never seen you riding anything except the DR.

yeah right - regret parting with my R100GS from a more 'dirtable' perspective - lower first grear, 21" front, lighter weight etc cest la vie

No you didn't. You correctly spotted that I had gone all brown in another thread.

It doesn't look like a standard PD cause someone threw the Touratech catalogue at it and quite a few bits stuck.

Well it looks like it is going to be a day ride on the Saturday only for me as some other priorities to do with family have popped up.

on the subject of tyres, I had a GP110 on the KLR last time around the coast, and it was fine apart from spinning up a bit in the loose stuff. I am just getting a shinko E700 to the rear of the KLR which might be interesting.

Is anyone who is coming still interested in taking the secnic as opposed to challenging routes?

    Cheers

if it keeps raining over here it will make things very interesting, lots and lots and lots of wet stuff had to ride home in the rain to day, with open face helmet, needles in the face, nice...........................
