    Remarkable Rally

REMARKABLES RALLY was not canned because of strippers at 12 mile delta in a public place.
Rally was canned at 12 mile delta because, our lease with DOC has runned out and they wanted $5.00 per head per day for site and we could not stop the public from coming onto the site.
The club spend $35000.00 on this site (it was only a 4 wheel drive track), had a bank account with $$$$$ in it for DOC to put on fresh running water from the lake above 12 mile and flashable toilets.

Dragging up a 5 year old thread and using atrocious spelling is an interesting way to introduce yourself to a site. I'm sure you'll fit in well with a number of others here
The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!

Man I remember that 2000 Rally up on the road to Cadrona!! What a great view but I will never forget trying to walk around, sleep, go to the portaloos etc at that rally cos of the slope the whole site was on, real hard work and strange waking up in the morning all rolled down to the bottom end of the tent Not really the best site for a rally!

I bought the CX650 Turbo fom John Boote M/C in Chch, it had a few cosmetic and alternator issues that I had to sort out., once done it looked mint and went well, I think I was the second NZ owner.
From memory I believe the bike was imported from the US or Canada by Garry Goodfellow, I'm crap at dates/years but I guess it would have been around 1988 that I bought it, and yeah, it pulled like a train!!
