Good one Glen (cool race no btw) & congrats on lap record, can't argue with that. Chris must be well pleased as well, showing off his talent bike building.

Congrats as well to Avalon with 125 lap record.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Congratulations Glen, your 250GP riding style is very pretty to watch. And that Ohlins indycar shock lives again Chris!

it is very awsoem to watch the way you ride you carry a humendous ammount of corner speed but also how far you crank the thing over and it looks so smooth and not out of line at all consistently.

You suit riding the 450 more than the 600 maybe its because you are running an older 600 but the 450 you looked much more impressive and comfertable almost like you used to on a 125

    How did you find out?
I can't see their point - they want to be competitive on a 20 year old bike. I'm sorry, that'll never happen anymore. Ozzy27 has said he can convert any 600 into a 450 for about $1k...

Excellent, cue $30,000 R4.5's and GSXR450's in F3. Just what that fucked up class needs. Have you heard there's a recession on the cards?

Congrats to Sketchy and Ozzie tho for the sheer riding skills and innovation tho.

Competitive racing on 20 year old 400's? Well the Aussies make a damn good job of it.

Dunno if any of you lot can remember this far back but this exact same conversation was had about 20 years ago when F3 race winners were on methanol powered GPZ500 twins and lo n behold out came the first of the ZXR400's.
With great wailing a knashing of teeth the guys on their suzuki mpulse 400's claiming the ZXR would END F3 as a class

Yip,I can remember that far back.Tony Mcmurdo won the first F3 championship on an 85 GSXR400 switching too a GPZ 500 for the last round at Manfeild too hold out a late challenge from Mike McCutcheon (GPZ500)before going on too win a string of Championships,The following year Mike Webb and Ernie Cudby turned up with a ZXR400 and FZR400 each and the three of them blitzed the feild. In those days the feilds were 30-40 strong and anybody with an Impulse would have been 20th back and anybody who thought they were gonna win a championship on 1 had their head in a very dark place.MNZ are not the people f#*king F3,Its the people with F3 bikes that dont turn up and ride them that are the culprits.Oh and yes the SV is dead as a championship winner if Ozzy decides too develop the 450 further.Think about it for a second,Newly built bike (less than 5 meetings) versus the two most developed SVs in the country with the 2 most experienced riders on them and its winning already (thanks in no small part to Glens riding). It was faster in a straight line and a far better handling bike than anybody could ever hope too make an SV (ask Glen W).Once its fully sorted anybody with an SV will be an also ran but then isnt that what everybody wanted too happen???Ring Ozzy now too get your order in pronto cause I know other people already have.

Mate then again dya remember the 250 proddy days-same time
Feilds so big we had A and B grade.
Dya think that would fill the grids back up??
A grade for the 650 twins and the fast 450's and B grade for the 400's
Or is there another reason people arent trning up to give it a go?
