Maori rugby team

Can not see another thread on this.

I kind of understand where the Sarf Africans are coming from. We have a team based on race. No I dont agree with the "indigendous" argument.

I say good on them for there stand on this... they got crap for having a all white team for years so what the difference....

We are all New Zealanders no mater what race we are....

Looks like the Springboks will refuse to play the Maori's, primarily it seems because they are a 'race based team'

Yeah, so can I. There were protests here about their white only rugby team, maybe they're doing a bit of the "what's good for the goose"? (Not that I agree with racial segregation of any kind)

Yep got it in one. We as kiwis push racial equality then say we want to send an all maori team to Sarf Africa.

They have Maori Traffic Wardens...what's the issue...

Racism is only in the eyes of the beholder...Maori are just a group of like for like that want to send their own team...I mean come on calling the Nations Rugger Team "All Blacks" is hardly PC when most of them are black...

If you say no to Maori Teams you are contravening basic human rights and if you scrap the idea and then specifically push Maori into a standardised system that could also be regarded as prejudice...

I mean it's like saying Harley riders are not Bikers...init?

Not down here in hicksville.Mind you nobody watches the Maori channel down here so we wouldnt have a clue what the ticket said.
