Dude if i wasnt upgrading and was a money bags i could easily spend a few more thousand dollars on my bike to get it more how i want, but hey that can be fun for some one else
ahhh my bad.... its too often that i find myself being to quick to judge, i had simply assumed we all here fit the long haired, unshaven, leather wearing, beer drinking dirty biker stereotype... i do apologize, so if anyone needs you time and help on a motorbike and lacks cash, what should we be offering you? just out of curiosity :P

and yeah you are absolutely right i also wana spend tons of money on my bike for stuff it probably doesn't even need..

see i used to think that then i realised its just a matter of falling in love with another ride which i think will be the deciding factor in this guys ultimate decision, because we can talk on and on about the bikes reliability but with the amount of cash he is willing to spend, he can get a hornet that's just as reliable and will last just as long as a new ninja. so it will all come down to which he likes better in looks and riding.

anyway has he had a go at both those bikes yet?

it would be awesome if when it came time to upgrade i could keep my ninja as a commuter and still be able to afford a weekend fun bike... but that might not be possible

I only paid $1.3k for my bike so it's a distinct possibility.

but surely you have poured both money and love into it increasing its value. didnt you mention before putting a new engine in it? that sounds like a definite increase in value to me
