RIP Dude
Hey who knows what lies ahead perhaps its better we dont!
As for the trip yesterday ta Steve and Alvin plus others who we caught up with in Taupo
Sorry to Daryll for his fast parting of hard earned coin to mr plod south of Tokoroa ( I did and bought him dinner ! )
We did get a few weird looks from motorists who had waved us by further North and were now proceeding past as the saintly officer discussed his life skills with us
Cheers Guys
By the way Alvin - did you spike me coke ? I tailed a Zook on way home thinking it was u only realising it could na have been when I passed him at the summit and the bike was a different color !!!!
Does indeed mate.
Was talking to the missus last night about bike deaths, shit like that, and what we get up to on the roads. Mind you, I like to think most of us, when we crank it up a bit its always a time and place thing eh.
Was thinking maybe its time to slow up a bit, speaking only for me, concentrate more on the ride blah blah blah......
Hmmm....but hey when you got HW50, Patangata/Kahuranaki, Wairoa etc etc......
As Al said.......ride on.
Take it as it comes.![]()
RIP to the fallen rider & condolensces to his family & friends
i had a close shave recently when i came round a corner in havelock to find a farmer saturating the road with a large irrigator, badly positioned in his field
dry road to wet road in an instant...at least if its raining you can ride accordingly ...
i cant imagine what it would be like to hit oil like that...
again, RIP
I think Dooly and his crew are guna be for the HIGHJUMP when they next try the Ballocks Clearing ride !
Me mate pulls tits up Patoka and was all finished for the days milking and what did he hear yep the sound of a giant turbo completing mass destruction ( it was of course those bloody bikers ! )
Yep and with that the cows stampeded outa the yards and down thru his wifes garden over the neighbours new falcon and ended up flattening the outhouse !!!!
I think theres some explaining to be done mr Dooly
Im with you Dooly, we were taking a cruze, must have been those bloody compressors alrite
Update on my three sons (actually only have 2). Boy recovering well from opp, picked up Japanese border everything all good. Sit down for tea then get a txt from eldest son wanting me to call him. Sons wrist doent look good at all so for the 2nd day in a row out to A&E. Still waiting for xray results, had time to visit first son in the wards even though after hours plus with Karen at home babysitting the student. Gona be a long week![]()
Hi Steve, back at ya, that was a really good day/ride. Thank you!
Al
It's not the speed, but the way we speed....
Slippery
I think it's time that farmers realised that they have to take more responsibility for their stock. Roads are for motorised vehicles, and stock needs to be kept at least one paddock away at all times.
As do all who ride with our group
You did. At Puketitiri. Sort-of-private family museum run by the Lemmon Trust.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
