Sadly I can't bring myself to disagree.

Thanks Dad? Still, you have managed to embody me with a slight layer of respect...

Your obviously just trying to pick an argument where it is'nt welcome, however since you obviously need me to, I will dumb it down for you....

Your appearance, IN A PROFFESSIONAL ATMOUSPHERE, reflects your pride in yourself, your job, and what your job stands for.....
If I went to a corporate function, and everyone was dressed like a bag of shit, I would seriously wonder how professional they really were, remember politicians are at this level, NOT THE LEVEL OF A FUCKEN BIKER RALLY.

I never said that people should be judged on appearance, politicains/corporates, of course they are, and why the fuck would I walk around a biker rally saying that?

What I was implying, as a whole, is that a politician, should dress to an appropriate standard, as they are representing N.Z at a corporate level.
You don't see politicians overseas dressing like mr sue bradford.

Taking some pride in your appearance at this level IS important, dressing like shit (remember at their level) shows me a lack of respect, pride, and professionalism, not traits I like to see in N.Z government.

Oh yeah, don't just pick shit out of this and modify it to raise a new rediculous argument.....ie"What point is that? That like you, we should all judge people by the way they look? This is one of the biggest problems I had with our previous (Dear) Leader - I'm sure it's bad luck to mention her name so I won't - I remember watching the footage of the Thailand FTA signing on TV, there was the Thai PM and there was someone who looked like a cleaning lady who had walked through the wrong door whilst looking for the mop cupboard...

Well you have obvously never watched Parliment live. Best dressed side show in town. Maybe you shoud email your post to all MP's but I doubt if the behavour would improve. Bottomline old son I judge by deeds not looks. Tanzor is a class example. Long haired Rastafarian but earned the respect of both sides of the House.

Why not give it a go.

You might just see more to a person than the image they want to project of themselves

    Skyryder

Ps I suspect your hostility to Bradford has more to do with her politics that her dress sense and if I'm correct makes a mockery of all that you say on your standard of dress code etc.

Yeah, but old Nachos famously went and got himself a hemp suit made because he didn't think his pre-MP standard of dress was appropriate...

    Jesus fucking christ.

    I. DO. NOT. JUGDE. PEOPLE. SOLEY. ON. THEIR. LOOKS.

A politician however, who can't be bothered ensuring they look at least worthy of their role, well, does'nt get my time of day. I never, ever, ever liked Nacho Pothead, his policies, or the fact that he made a mockery of parliament.
He gained "respect" from both sides, as he was popular amoung young voters due to his stance on pot, I think you will find this "respect" was more of a political decision, than anything else.

Actually, it is a complete merger of her looks, followed up and proven by her politics.....I hate how she looks like a filthy street hooker whos just been smacked around, pulled her clothing out of a rubbish bin and then proceeded to a television interview......

You may be fine with a sewer rat representing one of N.Zs political parties-not me.
