And what makes this better is that the billions that were to go into KiwiSaver subsidies would have been locked up for decades.

Instead they are adding to the fiscal stimulus so badly needed now.

the underlined bit is from Farrier - I dont want to take credit for his wording.

    +1

Very happy I voted for Johnny & the crew

All of the lefties that read and understand what they are commenting on should know that.

But the majority of them simply read the headline and bleat based on that. There is a reason that the 'core' supporters of Labour are unemployed and lower social economical. Its not because they are down trodden - its because they just ain't that smart.

I don't think JK will care too much about what the Labour Supporters will say if this happens.

Shit, 4% in a survey thought Uncle Helen is still the leader of the Opposition! An even bigger % didn't even know who Goff was..... I wonder how many of those were actual Labour Supporters.....

Well done JK. My vote was well spent.

Politics isn't as cut and dried as that.
Labour did good things as well as bad things, how can you write everything off?
Don't get me wrong I am not a Labour fanboy, or any political parties fanboy for that matter.
I do like that we have a new government, they have motivation to prove themselves which is good for the country.

At least they have the motivation to prove themselves good - and are doing so.

Labour only tried to show National (and esp Key) as bad (as opposed to proving themselves as good) - hence the negative campaign.

They did however prove themselves very willing to give up morals and stand by the likes of Winston - in order to hold onto power regardless of the cost.

and that boys and girls turned into one god almighty epic fucken fail.

    Isn't that the liarparty motto?
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

    My fav motto was always:

Winston Peters: "This election should be about visionary leadership and policies and principles - and not about the pursuit of power and the baubles of office."

Sometimes you need to think about what you ask for.
