    Biffing the L Plate...

I passed my Restricted test today....it was a breeze! Anyone who wants the inside on the test in Upper Hutt give me a yell...but as the testing officer said, its bloody hard to fail, and I've got to agree.
Anyone know how I change my L Plate status on here?

Changing up from the L plate is related to how many posts you make here. after L Plate is Scooter, then Moped.

At first, I was wondering why I was a L-plate rider having had my full license for 32 years...

Yes, you'd better - otherwise you'll FAIL! I've seen them at the supermarket Mine "fell off" rather early in my learner riding career

Yeah I passed mine a few weeks ago, I have no idea what I was worried about.
And mine was 4pm on a wet Friday (the 13th even!) in the middle of town.

If you know that you can ride within the law then it's not even a problem, just gotta exaggerate everything you do. I remember when we got to a stop sign... slowed down. Both feet firmly on the ground, one after the other. Full twist right. Full twist left. Full twist right again. Mirror. Take off.
Seems like so much effort for something so usual...
