Pootling through Te Awamutu yesterday morning and there was a bunch of old buggers on Harleys parked up in the main street...one of the Harleys had a high side trailer attached which was full of teddy bears...and they say a Harley doesn't have a plow attachment...!
Guess they were gearing up for the toy run. Or else they have a weird thing about soft toys going on...
I gave them the wave but I think they thought I was a young crazy on a sprotsbike so did not respond...that's old buggers for ya...

I still reckon harley riders don't wave because they are worried they might upset their already poorly balanced centre of gravity but then i haven't ridden a harley so i should probably

Yeah but if you are used to holding on for dear life and not waving, it would be a habit to break

Dunno, i wave at everyone on 2 wheels, people wearing leathers walking towards bikes, hot chicks, kids who are all excited about a loud green bike riding past and people that look at me. Only done the 2 handed, 2 sided wave a couple of times.

It was such a buzz as i was starting out on my gn250 having people wave back, hopefully i will end up giving some noobie the same buzz

    Idealistic/Romantic etc why not.

I found another issue with tomorrow :P My blinker relay is going hard out, so I have to fix this issue before tomorrow

Morel of the story, Even if you have a snorkle kit, Do not attempt to ride through the Waikato river to wet the electrics

All fixed Moisture in the hand controls on the indicator side as well as the terminal connection. The relays are those load sencing type, explains why it went off on its own from time to time

Quick strip down, blow out and reasemble and its a winner! *checks weather*

Mrs and I will be there look out for red white and black 07 gsxr with yoshi can.

Best thing about the day is seeing the faces of the kids who get a ride on the bikes.

I had the brother of a boy with cancer on the back of the gsxr last year.
    He loved it
