    Yeah just saw Padmei's Avatar-apologies...

Great bike. Using it for a daily commuter (200km trip) plus weekend fun. Haven't had it off the road much yet but looking forward to it when I get a chance. Had high expectations before I bought it and I'd have to say I'm really rapt with it. Green....of course!

the name has been around a while, I think it should have been written on the side: KLR 650 Gonzo

Cheers Aslan. Happy as a pig in sh%*. Not sure the GS likes being relegated to the far, dark corner of the garage...

Would love to go on the ride this weekend but unfortunately already have commitments.

My GS has similar experience to yours Moki with my DR being my weapon of choice for reasonably challenging off road stuff - have to confess though on the Makairo (with which you're familiar :-) ) I didn't even enjoy that on my DR when I rode it a couple of weeks ago (too overgrown) let alone my 1150

Just remember your wetsuit this weekend for the ride. Looking at how the weather is winding up, it'll be more like jetskiing!
