The little test ride I took last week was about the best time I ever had with my clothes on.

Yeah I know what you mean. You only have to look at the 600 sports bikes to see that they are beautifully fit for purpose... exploring the ragged edge between exhilaration and terror

Mate cant recommend the R6 enough. My 07 is a beaut and purrs like a kitten...growls like a Tiger at about 9000
Mostly mine gets used on the commuter route which sucks but i let her out on weekends when i can.
Would love to do the Rimutakas on it so your quite lucky where you are. Plus you have all those long straights out the back of Martinborogh.

    Great colour choice.

Red means fast and red also means you pick up more girls.

Almost makes you wanna make love to it!

I too recently got my full and was looking at getting an R6, i never rode one, but they are definitely one of the best looking bikes imo.
I looked around a bit and ended up getting an R1 - for the simple fact that an R1 goes for around the same price as an R6. It is a huge step up going straight to an R1 - and as was mentioned, my sanity is probably a bit off

It's back..."Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."
