You will never win that battle, get a new one (with a bike) while you still can
These aren't the bikes we're looking for....

Guess this means they are fixing the ride, odd isnt it that the car the collided with you possibly got a loan car whist his vehicle is fixed where as you get stuffed around then have a long with for the repair.

Good news however is you have your bike back.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

yeah, i could've hired a bike for like $100 a day and AMI (his insurer) *might've* paid for half...

I'll also be able to sit my full when the bike gets back...so it'll be up for sale pretty quick.

Would it be possible to do a winter WEC on a case by case basis if the weather is OK?

The front motor mount on my scoot is broken at the moment, I am waiting for the courier to deliver another one. Its an easy 4 bolt low cost fix, but the part has not turned up yet.

On my scoot the swing arm bolts onto the motor and the motor is supported by 2 rubber mounts at the back and one at the front. If you do a lot of two up hard riding the front motor mount rubber fails over time. The motor doesn't come out or anything like that it just vibrates a bit more and you loose a bit of swing arm alignment.

One of my old school buddies (and best man at my wedding) has just brought himself a BMW R1100 RS, kind of hoping to bring him along on a few rides to get him used to riding again.

Sorry to hear about your bike. Hope you get it fixed for this Wednesday.

Flip your presence is greatly missed over the last few WNRs. Hope the part for your bike arrives soon. If the weather is good I'm sure me and my friend Dan would be eager for a cruise.

    Blah

I'd be keen for winter rides, as a learner I need to experience all kinds of conditions I guess. Also having only just stumbled across WNR's I don't want it to be over to soon.
