Breakfast coffee at Topo's at 7am if needed.

But I'd rather leave Nelson at 7am and go straight to Kikiwa as I'm allergic to <7:00am times.

Meet at the servo by Dick Smiths in Richmond at 7:15ish for those who don't trust Topo's coffee?

Which one would you rather spend the day on ?
Hate to say it: been there, done that. Whilst a fang on the pommie beastie is a joyful thing indeed, it's more about timing. There's not many laid back rides, you can ride the Trumpy the other 364 days. You can always be a nigel-no-mates though
    Cheers,

15-35km usually. It's about 20km to St Arnaud if you need to fill up.

I'm going to be running a light fuel load, but a mate is taking a jerry can + some other supplies for me in his truck. 22.5L, I won't use all that so anyone who needs a few litres is welcome to it.
    Cheers,
    Colin

Oh if its that far away i might fill up . KLR handles best with half tank and crap with low fuel.

You're well ahead of me: rear wheel out, rear tyre off, shock out, spring off, shock linkage disassembed and bearings out; but I have got the bigger rear sprocket fitted. So all I have left to do is to fit the knobby rear tyre, install the bearings & seals in the shock linkages, install the shock, change the front tyre, adjust the fork pre-load and pull-through, re-fit the exhaust to fix a leak.

Update: too busy working on the bike to click 'send' yesterday. Shock back together, linkage bearings installed, rear tyre fitted, all ready to reassemble... progress of a sort, still got the front end to do.

Got a linkage bearing kit yesterday and went to install it to find the "slop" in the suspension is from a worn dogbone.

Got a txt from topo, his p.c. is playing up soooo

Coffee @ cafe topo is cancelled.
Looks like a quick stop at macas or something for you werewolf

On a brighter note, new seat fitted tank no longer held on by a piece of old innertube, sprocket cover installed, air still in tyres from the other night(might change it for some new stuff before though).
    almost ready to go
