    21st Mar

Would love to be there. Them there photos bring back a memory or two. BUT...promised my bro I'd look after his kids for the whole WEEKEND while they are doing the wedding anniversary boogie. And I'm guessing that doesn't include Bungeeing them on the back of a bike...Bugger. Can't delegate that back to Mandy.

Have a great time - its awesome round that coast. I love it.
IT'S JUST BETTER WHEN THERE'S TWINS INVOLVED..

the HP only weighs about 30kg more than your DR.

We chatted briefly during a break on the coast Saturday morning of the SCAR ride. Thanks for organising this, look forward to it

    Damm -- damm - damm

If i wasnt working this weekend i would probably have come down for this ride JMJ.

Mind you i dont think i could be trusted not to do any skids

Make sure no one else does any skids so that you can have a re run of the ride and i can come and do some skids then.

Im not much of a hipocrite.
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time

yea mate might be right there.

ok a couple options for riders to think about, for after coast section.

    option one.
dorsets road / northcoft rd. short and sweet.
    gravel and grass tracks.

    option 2
tinui valley rd, te mai rd, pack spur rd (paper rd,) matakoina rd, castlepoint, then home.
    seal and gravel roads
if we get a good day option 2, will have great sea views,
and we will travel along side the sea.

have a think and let us know,
so far long range weather looks good.

I vote for whatever that involves the least amount of seal, tar, asphalt or similar.

    Cheers,

theres is about a 25min ride to get to tinui valley rd, along castlepoint road. only thing is later on we would have to back track along a section of that road.

the other roads need to travel along seal to get to them as well, and sadly back track along a part of them too.

il get my REALY BIG MAP out and do some resurch.

    Back track???????
Ride the same bit of road twice in one day???????

I have faith that Rapa Joe can devise a route with none of that silliness involved!

(ok we can ride the same bit twice if its REALLY awesome!)
    Cheers, Dave
