DB is the new Porridge. Cause most of the mods must be sucking his cock ..... Or his giving them some oral help? How else can you explain it?

Holding on tighter tires you out quicker so you fall off faster

I was looking at some vids of sidecar racing

There seems to be two style

out the side head first or body extend
or stick you ass out leaning forward towards the bike getting as low as possible.

Then for right handers there is two again

just behind the driver but still on the left
    or
    Extended over the rear wheel

    which one is better

Sounds like the first is on a short bike and the second on a long bike

At Puke I was more like the first example and Richie was doing the second, and we finished fractions of a second apart

I don't think there is any right and wrong it's whatever works for you and your rider the best

Sounds like someone is already making excuses to be a no show

The f1 boys (long wheel base) seem to do the ass out hide behind the fairing thing where as the classic racers do head out first thing

Then the over wheel seems to also be relevant to type of rig

From what I gathered on the last have a go day it's pretty much impossible to stick your head out on an LCR, and the short track ones are fun to get low to the ground on, but the lcrs are fun in an "oh shit is the wheel suposed to be this far off the ground", holding on tight trying not to get pulled off kind of way. The force they brake at is pretty big, too. Must just feel that way sitting on your knees...

The handles on the LCR dont really let you get out around the guard and low down and you don't really need to either

As for lifting the sidewheel Scurvy and Sidecarboob are the experts at that on the short bike

Nope, just working up the obvious timidity to the point where Mr Scrivener will no longer think it's fun to hurt me.

It's true. If I hadn't binned my helmet I would have gone straight back out! Might be a little more nervous this year but will be hunting down John for another blast
