Yeah keen to do that as well, bit nervous about it though, just cause I'm not done anything like that before.

So I pushed the dainty little bike over and dragged its arse to the side.
Then it took me 3 goes to get it up. I got back on it got it moving again and before I could stand up the front washed on me and down I went.
well you seemed in surprisingly benign mood when I arrived - I would have been venting 4 letter words at a high rate of knots if I'd just gone through that

    would that be right.

so much red tape now days.
you could have taged along with us..
Yes you could ride around if the gate at the lighthouse wasnt locked, there used to be a mini rally at Stone Wall, at the spot where you guys were going through the stream, held in June. The scree slope looks as tho it's got bigger, was it still soft & deeply rutted at the top?
The Pukemanu adventure ride a few years back went along the coast from Tora to Cape Palliser

Would have loved to tag along BUT being in Aussie it's a bit far. Have attached a picture of a KTM 950 at a recent rally, you think the DR 650 tank was big this thing was HUGE

I had to! I was takin on water (the splash cover my googles with mud) ... later on couldn't get the mud of my gear with the 100K of very very heavy rain, neither with the hose at home

besides I could see the malign look on the eyes of the people around ready to take their cameras rather than helping a poore comrade in difficulty nothing seen before on this ride of course

Your pic was my second lie down in about 2 meters.
I managed to bury the back wheel so badly I couldn't move.

Then it took me 3 goes to get it up. I got back on it got it moving again and before I could stand up the front washed on me and down I went.

As you can imagine I remained
cool , calm and collected the whole time.
